Mandatory Submission of SGK Information for Tourism Facilities

Announcement by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism – Submission of Social Security (SGK) Information for Tourism Facilities

According to the announcement published by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, a temporary Article 36 proposed to be added to the Unemployment Insurance Law No. 4447 is expected to introduce a social security premium support scheme for accommodation facilities holding a "Tourism Operation Certificate" during the period from May through December 2026.

In order to implement this support program, the Social Security Institution (SGK) requires certain information to be collected through the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. For this purpose, the Ministry has activated the "Facility SGK Information" section within the "Tourism Facilities Information System."

Accommodation facilities holding a Tourism Operation Certificate are required to submit the following information through the system:

  • Social Security (SGK) workplace registration number(s),
  • Tax identification number and workplace information,
  • Information indicating whether the facility will be operational during the support period,
  • For seasonal facilities, the operational start and end dates for the 2026 season.

According to the Ministry's announcement, the submission of this information is essential for the proper implementation of the social security premium support program.

All required information must be entered into the Tourism Facilities Information System no later than the close of business on 7 August 2026.

Accommodation facilities intending to benefit from the support program are advised to complete the required data entry within the specified deadline in order to avoid any potential loss of entitlement.
