Born in Trabzon in 1949, Erdoğdu Öz graduated from Istanbul Academy of Economics and Commercial Sciences, Department of Finance and Accounting in 1971. During his 25-year service as a civil servant in the Tax Administration, he worked as Tax Office Manager and Revenue Manager in Izmit, Balikesir and Istanbul, and he retired in 1997. Erdoğdu Öz, who received his master’s degree in Financial Law at Marmara University during his civil service and completed his doctorate courses in the same university, also worked as a lecturer for a period. Erdoğdu Öz, authored two books on the Corporate Tax and Law on the Procedure for the Collection of Public Receivables, and he has various articles published in various journals. Erdoğdu Öz attended many training sessions and seminars as a speaker.
